Cubix

They were the same version. The only difference was that the Fox Box aired one episode that Kids' WB! skipped.

As for the show...I really can't remember it. It must have kept me mildly entertained, I guess...

...No. It was a show about robots who did every-day work for humans, and had an evil scientist trying to take over the world.

I think you might be thinking of the fact that the title robot, Cubix, was made out of cubes.

i liked it! At first I didn't think much of it but the more I watched the more I appreciated it.

And they DID finish the plot. Killobot turned against his wannabe Dr. Wiley creator and Cubix ended up defeating him.

The human character designs were weird, for me anyway. The faces were to anime for me. I mean the faces were probably anime for cashing in for the craze. (this makes me sound so anti-anime) but the designers really didn't need the style when they could have used a more polygonal shaped face like Reboot or Jimmy Neutron. The characters were pretty generic and the 4kids dub cast seemed just like they were dubbing one of their other failed attempts. The story however was pretty decent with robots working together with the humans in harmony except for some robots that for some reason rebelled and joined sides with another human (question mark) but yeah it did have potential.

LOL! No one remembers the main villain's name. They remember Kilobot, who was around for season 2, but they don't remember the name of his creator, who was around since the very beginning. His name was Dr. K.

Anyway, Cubix had some potential. Cubix himself was a fairly interesting creation. I liked how he could turn into different vehicles and tools. That was kind of cool. However, the rest of the series just kind of fell flat. Too much of it was fill in the blank: Generic boy hero-check. Cute girl in the gang whom he'll probably end up dating later on-check. Gruff dad and dead mom-check. Fat kid-check. You get the idea. Plus, the writing wasn't very good, overall. The 2nd season episode where Conner and Cubix shrink was far too implausible and goofy. I think that Kids' WB was banking on Cubix being the next Pokemon, and it wasn't, so the the network dumped the series.

Actually, I remembered his name. Especially since 4Kids made a reference to him during the One Piece dub.
