Cubase 5, make midi sounds into regular sounds?

can i change in my midi files and make them into sounds?
im a newbie in using cubase, i have cubase 5.
and english is not my first language.
so, lets say i make my music from finale into midi.
and i open the midi with the cubase, can i then select the midi sounds to make them to the regular sounds?

yes im reading the manual, but it is in english, and because english is not my language, i need time to read it and learn it.

so, can someone please inform me?
