CU500, a707 or 3125?

OK, I feel like I've opened a giant can of worms by just thinking I'd like to be able to use my phone to get to the internet. And just when I thought I had it down to two phones, the a707 shows up?

It appears that the a707 and the CU500 are very similar in features and capabilities.. amd I missing something that one does way better than the other?

What is the Cingular 3125 "Smartphone" going to do the others wont considering it doesn't have QWERTY or a screen big enough to compete with the PDA devices.

I want good reception and battery life, the MP3 palyer is a plus, but not sure how much I'll actually use it. Being able to check weather, google maps and email on the web would be great. Mostly, I want to be able to connect my laptop and use the phone as a modem when I'm on the road.. which is a couple weekends a month.

Any help or other suggestions are gratefully accepted.

For the price of unlimited internet i would go with the CU 500 or the 707. The reason being is Smart Phone connect is $19.99( unlimited internet on the 3125 at EDGE speeds) Media Max 200 is $19.99 for the CU 500 and 707 this gives you unlimited internet(3G) , cingular video if available in your area, and 200 text, video, picture, or instant messages. If you live in a 3G area get a 3g phone. You can use cingular video and it will blow away the internet on the 3125.

A707 also has 2.0megapixel camera vs 1.3 on CU 500 and 3125.

Just my 2 cents

I ended up with the Cingular 3125 and thanks to a sales rep who didn't quite know what to do, got the MediaMax 200 bundle.

3G wasn't a big deal to me since it's not available here and the more I read about all the delays. I will surely be ready for a new phone before it is.

Something came up at work and I realized how nice it would be to be able to have a few key documents with me all the time... at that moment I decided anything less than the 3125 would leave me thinking I was missing something I needed.

So far I'm a happy camper.
