CTRL + N , CTRL + O , CTRL + C , CTRL + V not working on photoshop?

When i press them they don't work. and no its not the keyboard's fault it just that they work on others except on photoshop. well it used to work. i have windows 7 Adobe Photoshop 10 ( CS3)
