I've had sinus problems for a long time and had several surgeries in the past. But in the last 6 months they have been worse. It started in May (bad congestion, headaches, dizziness, post nasal drip, not able to cough up too much stuff) and I was diagnosed with a sinus infection. The doc put me on amoxycicillin, 4 weeks later I had the same symptoms and was put on Ceftin. Four weeks later, congestion and dizziness worse. He put me on Levaquin and sent me to an ENT. He looked at my sinuses and said everything was clear but he was concerned about the congestion and dizziness and ordered a CT scan to see if any of the little sinuses were clogged or if there were any polyps (I get that done tomorrow). He put me on a medrol dose-pak and wanted me to take another round of antibiotics which I declined. I've had allergy testing done twice and was diagnosed with non-allergic rhinitis. I'm not sure what to expect from the scan and quite frankly, am afraid that it won't show anything wrong and I have to live with the congestion that just won't go away. I've tried decongestants, flushing my sinuses with salt water, already use a steroid nasal spray, so don't know what else I can do.
