Crysis PC game question?

i was playing the level reckoning in crysis and ever time the game would load it would freeze and stop responding it has happened a million times in the past few minutes as soon as the game comes on the screen i messes up. i have all the updates and everything. what is the problem and how can i fix it???????????????? thanks
