Cruse Control. 01 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. Cruse Is acting up...help!? Please!?

My EGR valve needs replaced. But I have used cruse ..even while my EGR valve needs replaced and didn't seem to have this problem.. So i'm not sure if this has anything to do with my new situation! When I set my cruse at any speed ...and go to use my left turn signal..cruse just shuts off..and No..I didn't hit the crush switch to shut it off. However it does NOT do it when i use my right turn signal!
Any suggestions would be helpful?!

You have a wiring problem in your steering column,you will need a good electrician to fix it as the steering wheel will probably have to come off to fix it.
 
hi, ive had sort of the same problem with my 1998 chevy monte carlo, except that it was in my brake switch making my cruise not work, but what im thinking your problem is , is you may have a kink in the wire and when you push down on your turn signal to go left it shorts out the cruise,just my opinion.... my advice is to replace the wand on the steering column....thanks
