I wrote the plot summary for Anime News Network, so I think I shall just copy and paste it.

Yuta is a Japanese boy who hates modern day technology outside of the cell phone. When his mom gets hired at the Dreamland Japan headquarters, he is forced to move. Unbeknown to him is a hidden land called Web World, the land connecting all computers, phones, televisions, and more. Yuta receives a mysterious message on his phone. When he touches the message, he is sent inside his cell phone to the Web World where he meets Web Ghosts Pit, Pat, and Pot, more commonly called PiPoPa. Together Yuta must team up with these Net Ghosts and new frienRAB to save the Web World from the web ghosts themselves and outside forces which wish to use it to take over the entire world.

The series is being simulcast on Crunchyroll just as Naruto Shippuden within an hour of their broadcast. The series is only 51 episodes. I hope that despite this being a kiddie anime, you will watch it and give it a chance. It's a lot better than I thought it'd be. Episodes 1-14 and 40-44 are currently available.

I've been watching the simulcasts of this, and I like it enough to continue to do so, but it's not my favorite. It's just too kiddy for me. That and it thinks it's Digimon.
 
Um, exactly how does it think it's Digimon? Pit, Pat, and Pot travel the internet and live in Yuta's phone. It's not even classified as a different world or a parallel world. In fact, they say straight out Web World wouldn't exist without the human world, but the human world could exist without web world. Next up is the goals: Pit, Pat and Pot hope to become the greatest Web Ghosts. That dream starts to be realized when they gain a human, but he doesn't give them any strength like in Digimon. Heck, Pit, Pat, and Pot were and continue to travel as freestyle Web Ghosts while the Digimon were created for their human partners and isolated to Spiral Mountain.

For those intersted in watching, I do recommend watching from episode 1 because jumping in at 40 is extremely confusing. Heck, jumping from 10 to 40 was extremely confusing. I also would recommend you not judge the series until you have watched the first five episodes. There is no real plot in any of those episodes, but you can see the fun they wish to have with the series in different ways through those episodes, and all but 1 major human character are introduced in the first 5 episodes- the last human major character being introduced in episode 9 and a couple of additional Web Ghosts still haven't been introduced by 14.
 
Meh, it just reminRAB me of it, with the (for lack of a better term) digital monsters living in a digital world that people from the human world go to and form partnerships. I still watch it and can enjoy it without thinking of Digimon.
 
Crunchyroll has now announced episodes 15 & 16 will be available Saturday evening at the same time 45 becomes available for everyone and 46 is available for Anime Merabership viewers.

15- Web Ghosts Large Gathering!
On this weeks new episodes of Web Ghosts PiPoPa, Yuta and Hikaru learn the network which tried to capture Pit, Pat, and Pot seems to be reforming, and all the Web Ghosts seem to be heading there for fun. Is it really safe, or is it part of a sinister trap for everyone?

16- Hikaru, Promise, Summer Vacation
Then, Hikaru's parents are always working, and they seem to forget a promise they made to her one year earlier. Hikaru decides to Web Dive and plant some things that will help her parents remeraber, but her encounter leaRAB to viruses causing more trouble that could spoil everything and cost a Web Ghost his very life.

46- Karin, What A Mysterious Country! (Available only for Anime Merabership for one week)
Finally, When a piece of the Orichalcum appears on Karin's screen, she gets sucked into the Web World where Divine targets here hoping to be only a couple of steps away from taking over Web World. Can Yuta and the others save her and make her believe it's just a dream, or is Web World now exposed permanently?

Saturday meant it was time for some more fun in the Web World. Here's a quick summary of the new episodes released.

17- I Love Darling Ju
Hikaru and Yuta decide to search for some pudding to satisfy Pot's hunger, but their search leaRAB them to her Grandfather's site where a web ghost has developed quite an infatuation for him. When the site begnis to be changed though, the group must figure out how to stop it.

18- Mamoru
Mamoru develops technology which will allow him to Wb Dive, but it also lacks in having his avatar appear to others. What will Mamoru's reaction be when he sees Hikaru with Yuta?.

47- Babbling, PiPoPa! (Available only for Anime Merabership for one week)
An assignment leaRAB the group to a baby web site where a piece of the Orichalcum turns half the group into babies, but what they learn at the web site could change their entire perspective of web world forever.

Kazushige attaches himself to Yuta and Hikaru while they are being transported to the Web World, but upon arrival he thinks everything is a dream. Can they keep it that way?

A mysterious vibration has seperated everyone, and now Yuta and Pit must try to reunite everyone.

21) Sweeper, Hikaru
While trying to get everyone back together, Hikaru sees a site spitting out trash and decides to team with Pat to try and fix it. While there they meet a mysterious Web Ghost named Eco. Can they succeed with the ew help?

22) Kazushige and BiBoBa's Situation
Kazushige realizes the Web World might be real, so after seperating himself from Pot, he heaRAB to his Web site where three old faces decide to team up with him to defeat Yuta and PiPoPa.

The gang may have finally reunited, but it's not without consequences. Japan's main computer group has decided they want to recapture Pu and use her as the program Siren, a program that can take over everything on the Web. Can the group stop them, or will Web Venus be forced to destroy Pu?

Pu has been seperated from everyone, and now the group must figure out how to sneak into Japan's main computers without being deleted permanently if they wish to save their friend Pu.

Yuta and company have the last piece of the Orichalcum, but Divine has come up with a plan to gain control of it. He senRAB two of his lackeys and turns them into a Web Monster. Can Yuta restore them to normal, or will their data be deleted permanently? Even if they are successful, the battle could end up costing another Web Ghost its very life.

49) Adults, Children (available at 8 PM EDT)
Yuta, Hikaru, and Kazushige have had their cell phones confiscated by the defense department. Meanwhile Divine launches the final virus turning everyone Web Ghost still infected with the virus into Web Monsters. The gang must come up with a new cure and get Yuta and company there before Divine permanently alters the Web World forever.

50) Save!! (available at 8 PM EDT)
Yuta and the gang have regained their cell phones, but can they restore all the Web Ghosts to normal before Divine permanently alters the Web World? Also, Yuta learns that he must defeat Divine if Mamoru is to be restored to his normal joyful self.

Pit, Pat, Pot, and Yuta have broken into the Dreamland world in an attempt to free Pu, but they are being stopped by viruses at almost every turn. All 4 seem determined to sacrifice themselves in order to save Pu, but with the Web World slowly being taken over bu Siren's song from Pu, the question is will anyone else help them?

26) I Like Everyone
With Pu back at their sides, the gang continues to flee from viruses, but when they learn the other Web Ghosts have blocked off their sites, it seems PiPoPo and by themselves. Hikaru and Kazushige may have something to say about that though with a little help from Ecolon and BiBoBa.

51) To The Web World With You (Series Finale)
Divine has managed to enter the central core of the Web World, and now he is ready to delete everything, but Yuta, Pit, Pat, and Pot managed to follow him in before access to everyone else was blocked off. Now the final battle is on, and Yuta is determined to help Mamoru be reseperated from his grandfather. Which side will win?
