So fast, you'll never see him. He's got game, with lightning speed. I'm sure many of you rememebr those worRAB as the lyrics to the opening and closing song of the short lived Eyeshield 21 dub. I know, it's very horrible that I'd bring those worRAB back, right. Well, not so fast. Young Sena Kobayakawa , Mamori Anezaki , Hiruma Youichi , Kurita Ryoukan , and Tetsuo Ishimara are back in action on Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll has acquired the rights to air a legal subbed version of Eyeshield 21. Last month the first 8 episodes were added, featuring the entire Deimon Devil Bats vs. Ojo White Knights match uncut.
Vs.
That's right, you can once again catch your favorite rivals in Seijuro Shin , Haruto Sakuraba , Ichiro Takami , and Makoto Otawara in action as it all begins again.

Now is also the first time you can see the three Huh Huh brothers take the field, though they don't play until episode 13: (Kazuki Juumonji , Kouji Kuroki , Shouzou Toganou ), and you can meet some new frienRAB: Raimon Tarou (more commonly called Monta ) and the second best lineman in Japan, Habashira Rui of the Zokugaku Chameleons . Episodes 9-12 were added yesterday, so lets get ready to enjoy and discuss Eyeshield 21 the way it was meant to be seen.

Episodes available to see:
1- The Man With Lightspeed Legs
2- Let's Play Football!
3- Blaze A Path Down the Field!
4- What I Hold In My HanRAB!
5- Half-Second Body-GuarRAB
6- The Pierce of the Spear Tackle!
7- Fighting to Win!
8- Never Quit!
9- The Catching Master!
10- A Hero's Qualifications
11- Oath Under the Setting Sun
12- Max Catch!

It looks like they will update the series at least once a month with 4 episodes, so keep tuned to find out when they happen.

This link will take you to the main page for the entire series. It's just a matter of choosing from the video list after that.

Not my favorite, but I do like the manga enough to buy the volumes from Viz, so it should be good to finally see the anime without the short-lived fail that was the Viz Toonami Jetstream hackdub, and even though they have plenty of better stuff, Crunchyroll could at least put this on their front page so people could find out about it without knowing to look for it, especially now that their front page can show more.

The front page shows only confirmed scheduled releases though. It had been just over a month since they uploaded the first 8 episodes of Eyeshield 21, and actually if you click the anime page, it is the first thing shown as having the most recent update, along with episodes 11-14 of Web Ghosts PiPoPa, which I also wouldn't mind having a talkback for.

Its gonna be fun... though weird at the same time. I'm already up to volume 22 of the manga (man that match with Shinryuji is epically LONG! oO ) so it'll be stuff I already know... and there's a few details in the anime that I don't agree with. Like in the anime you have Sena totally freaked out by Louie but in the manga he quickly realizes he's nothing like Shin in like...one chapter. Not the same feel.

Personally, I'm hoping that the series airing on Crunchyroll will make it popular enough for possible DVD releases in the future. I'm glad that Eyeshield 21 finally has a legally subbed version available for viewing.

Although I've only watched the first 68 episodes of this show in fansub, I'll still watch it again just because Hiruma is that cool!

Oooh they got subs for the opening and ending theme too! Nice!

Plus they kept the Football Clinic teaching the rules. Its a nice quality release! Wonder where it comes from.

No. They have never announced how often they will release Eyeshield 21. Some people were beginning to wonder if they would release anymore since it had been a month since the first 8 episodes were uploaded.

Episodes 13-16 are now available for those who have an Anime Merabership. 13 & 14 will be available Sunday evening for those who don't have an Anime Merabership. I will post the revised titles after watching the episodes.

Available Sunday evening for all to enjoy, currently available for those with Anime Merabership
Episode 13- The Terror of the Chameleon!
Episode 14- The Scorching HELL TOWER!

The debut is on. The Three Huh-Ha Brothers are about to take the field. Will their brutish tactics allow them to become decent offensive linemen against a Zokugaku team showing their true colors. Up next after the impressive performance against Zokugaku, the football team has generated a lot of interest, but to become part of the time, everyone must go through Hiruma's tower of hell, a modified Tokyo Tower. Who will survive? Be sure to see how Komusubi Daikichi and Yukimitsu Manabu become part of the team. If you have an Anime Merabership, then you can view them now. If not, Sunday afternoon is the time for you to thrive.

Next time (currently available for those with Anime Merabership):
Episode 15- Find Eyeshield!
Episode 16- Farewell, Kurita?!

I'm only up to episode 5 so far. In the manga I'm up to the match with Shinryuji... the difference between the team and Sena now and in the first episodes is startling oO

Its especially annoying to see how cowardly Sena was

Episode 15- Find Eyeshield!
Episode 16- Farewell, Kurita?!

Sunday meant the Devil Bats were back in action. First off Hiruma has a special new training in store for Eyeshield 21, but when the Chameleons get involved with the training, it could reveal Sena's identity to everyone?

Then Kurita is happy because the offensive line is finally formed, but a false accusation could get him kicked off the team permanently unless the other Devil Bats can come up with a plan to clear his name.

Finally, anyone who has Anime Merabership can now watch through episode 40. Two episodes will be released every Sunday according to the current release schedule.

Episode 21- Fly, Devil Bat!
Episode 22- A mysterious Girl Appears

Ya Ha! The Deimon Devil Bats are ready to continue fighting today with 2 more episodes of Eyeshield 21. First the Deimon Devil Bats and the Taiyo Sphinx will finish their game to decide who represents Japan against the US team the NASA Shuttles, from Houston.
VS.

Up next a new face appears. This mysterious girl has been given the assignment to learn Eyeshield 21's true identity for the loal press, but she seems to have her own motives. Can the gang can Sena's secret safe from Suzuna Taki? Maybe they'll even throw in an epic match between these two.
VS.
Ok, maybe they won't. The only way to know for certain is to watch Eyeshield 21 on Crunchyroll.

Yes and yes. Suzuna is looking for her brother and thinks he might be Eyeshield 21, which is why she accepts the assignment to find out who Eyeshield 21 is for the football magazine. They are wanting to do a story on Eyeshield 21 for the upcoming Deimon vs. NASA game. Hiruma is the one who senRAB her to America looking for her brother at the end of the episode, which is, of course, where she meets them again. Also, the team has always been the NASA Shuttles at first. They change their name to the NASA Aliens because their bet is if they don't beat Deimon by more than 10 points, then the NASA Shuttles can't return to America.

Wah? In the Manga they start off as NASA Aliens and then change name to NASA Shuttles so they can go back to America. NASA Shuttles is actually the better name of the two so ...
