Crowning Moments of Awesome (in animation)

And seething with rage that Bender was at the end of it.

...yeah, I dunno why I thought Fry/Leela was still believable after that one. I think that's the point where it just felt... hollow for me.

I'm a sucker for fight scenes:

Justice League:

- The Secret Society: The battle at the end, them all charging to fight was very badass. I wish I was one of the people in the auditorium watching it. My favorite part was at the end when Superman flicked Gorrilla Grodd off him with just his fingers.

-The Once And Future Thing Part 2:
Batman: Chronos! Look at what's happening around you! Look at the SKY! (the universe starts to deteriorate)
Chronos: Pretty!
Also, seeing the beginning of time, which is just some giant hand. It's pretty neat.

-Panic in the Sky: The whole league fighting a bunch of clones. followed by a two superpowerd women duke it out!

-Divided We Fall: The whole episode.

-Destroyer: Superman gives out the "World Made Out of Cardboard Speech" and punches Darkseid right through several buildings.

...and there's other stuff too.

Hmmm..., where do I start, there are so many, and BTW, Cool avatar, Radical Raven.

I'll begin with the classic, old school Anime 'Project A-ko' which features Crowning moments of Awesome that knows no bounds, some of the best scenes are with A-ko effortlessly trashing each and every mecha B-ko throws at her on a daily basis, their fight which began at school and continued into the city in the midst of an alien invasion, to their temporary truce in order to rescue C-ko to the surprising cameos at the end that makes this anime one of the best ever.

The crossover episode 'Knight Time' (S:TAS) remains one of the best, where we see Superman using a rare, and forgotten ability while impersonating Batman while having a difficult time adapting to the missing Dark Knight's serious nature.

Jedi Master Mace Windu's unarmed yet forceful attack against the super battle droids in the 'Star Wars: Clone Wars' cartoon series.

He-man reverting back to his alter ego, Prince Adam after facing the full force of the Ram-Stone ( in the episode 'Lessons') right there and then, Skeletor would've discovered He-Man's true identity if the shock wave didn't carried the hero far away.

Rationalizing plot/character action/etc to keep you watching? I've been there. I've twisted Hayley's actions in "Camp Refooguee" all over the place so I stop wanting to punch my favorite character on AD! in the face, for example.

Do you find it a little harder to enjoy a show you have to do that for, JB? I know I do...

A friend of mine and I find it funny that he goes on a shpeel about how he does his best not to hurt people... and proceeds to annihilate a good chunk of downtown Metropolis by punching Darkseid like that.
