Crossovers

That's one of those things you always think about, until something like the "Jimmy Timm Power Hour" eps come around and change yuor mind fast.

Agree, they should had made a Timmy-Danny Power Hour (a crossover with DP) or Kappa Mikey. Or SpongeBob meet Red & Stimpy. The main trouble is we couldn't done with cartoons who aren't from Nickelodeon like Danger Mouse.

Well, I do have to agree with you guys about the Timmy-Jimmy Power Hour crossovers. The last one was horrible. I would have enjoyed a Timmy-Danny crossover movie...if it was done correctly.

I hoped so hard for a Fairly Oddparents/Danny Phantom crossover, if only to see Vlad and Crocker join forces through painfully convoluted circumstances.

All of those are plausible, except for the one with Danger Mouse. That hasn't aired on American TV in almost 20 years.

I wish there was a crossover between Rocko and Ren and Stimpy (however, that wouldn't be too plausible either because neither show has been in production for over ten years, not counting the short-lived APC, which nobody besides slash fanatics on deviantART liked).

This isn't really a crossover, but I think it might be cool to have the crew for one show make an episode of another show and vice versa, and see their take on the show. I doubt it'd happen though.

That's a pretty interesting idea. I've seen it done with webcomics, and it would be cool to see how someone like Butch Hartman take on Avatar ad vice versa. :D

Or how about this: Larry Schwarz of Kappa Mikey working on FOP and vice-versa.
Matt Stone and Trey Parker working on SpongeBob or Rugrats

the possibilities could be endless :D

I personally don't care for crossovers, but I've always pondered on a Danny Phantom/Teenage Robot special, because the angle of two Nickelodeon superheroes meeting via time travel (Clockwork fits in here)--whether sending Jenny to the past (present time) or Danny to the future--could, if written well, be something entertaining. I'd mention El Tigre (another superhero show on Nick), but I have yet to watch it, so I can't say on his behalf.

I actually don't see a Danny Phantom/Fairly Oddparents crossover. They may be from the same creator, but I feel the two show to be so dramatically different from one another that I just can't see them compatible.

Your right the Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom they seem to come from different worlds. In FOP the characters have fingers and a thumb, while on DP the characters have 4 fingers and a thumb, plus the styles of the two shows are different, FOP is more slapstick comedy while DP is more story oriented.

As far as crossover fics they one of the more popular ones, other ones that rival them are Kim Possible and American Dragon: Jake Long crossover fics, which diffently could have worked, but that is another network.

I actually like the idea of a crossover, as long as it is done right. The first two Jimmy Timmy Power Hour specials did that right. I do agree with how Jerkinators was kind of weak, but I did like how it allowed for Timmy and Jimmy's friends to be a part of the story. I did think that a FOP and a Danny Phantom crossover would be cool but after putting in more thought into it, I do agree that both shows would be far too different for the crossover to work well. I honestly would like to see a crossover with some of Nick's superheroes, like Danny Phantom and Jenny, entering into their timeline. That does have the most appeal to me, in terms of having a good chance of being done well, as a crossover.
