crickit in va???

Being a former DMV resident myself I would love for them to move into that area. After reading your question I went to the website and looked up the information you requested. From what I can tell they are close to VA in Greensboro NC and as high up and Philly but missing the required area inside the VA DC MD areas. Here is the link http://www.mycricket.com/cricketcoveragemaps/area?hocode=120 I am hoping they keep expanding I just left helio a month ago lol this makes them look like ***. For real. Good Luck

They should be offering service in the Richmond area, as they are about to launch service in the DC/MD/VA metro area using the spectrum they bought in the Advanced Wireless Service (AWS) auction.

They paid 133 million for the DC/MD/VA license and 5.8 million for the Richmond, VA license. They have 20 Mhz of bandwidth in each market.

Here's a link at the FCC that lists all of the winners in that auction back in 2006.

TMobile scored the most bandwidth and will be using that to launch more service across the country.

Metro PCS and Crickett both got a lot of strategic areas of coverage that will probably give some competition to the big boys, that is if the big boys don't buy them out to keep a price war from occurring.

This is good news since I am up in that area all the time lol :) I will be able to truly travel with my cricket to all 50 states soon!! Good Post Bugs.
