Cricket Web works, but phone wont activate.

Alright i dont know if this has happened before. but i have a HTC Mogul with Windows Mobile 6.1, with the latest PRL with EVDO(i bought it off ebay and have no idea what rom im running). and i can connect to any website easily but the problem im having is that my phone wont activate with *229, and the Cricket customer service is absolutely no help what so ever. So basically i cant text message, nor receive calls, or call out. Is this crazy or has anyone occurred this problem, just steer me in the right direction on how to solve this problem. Thank you and all you guys help is greatly appreciated.

the spc on the phone isn all zeros(000000) it neeRAB to be that inorder to otap i suggest u use getspc to find out what your spc is then go in and manually program it

And if it doesn't work you would have to call cricket to get the MDN and MIN nurabers from them...You can easily program your phone with these nurabers
Just dial ##778# and it will go into the programming menu and just program your nam with these nurabers
You'll be all set

Just so you know to get to this menu you need to know your spc
and to get that all you need is a program called getspc and load it into your phone and put in your ESN# and it will generate your spc..

That should be it..

Also before i forget...if you call *228 the phone will change its prl back to 1040..the non-evdo prl
 
It was pretty stupid actually, i had my phone nuraber where the MDN shouldve been, soon as i changed that, had it working no problem, other than mms, but im happy now so im good.

well if you want to get the mms set up....the best way to go about that is loading a custom rom onto your phone...actually.....the best mogul rom for cricket has to be to0's hanRAB down...
it will set up your mms...and evdo automaticly...seriously this is the best..
I feel stupid because i loaded all the programs to get my mogul working in tip top shape by myself...but this rom would have done it all automaticly
