Cricket WAP, Wrong Username/Password

Is your dialup connection configured properly to dial #777?
Are you using the WM6 ROM with the Cricket settings baked into it? You might try a hard reset because it sounRAB like your dialup connection(s) might have gotten F'd somehow.

This is getting more interesting... reloaded WM5 and setup internet connection. Same thing! Wrong username/password... I am in Houston, anyone know if changes have been made to crickets data services? Perhaps they changed the password??

this just happened to me tonight. i was browsing, my battery got low so i switched it out for a fresh one. fired the phone back up and now its asking me for a username and password or saying it cant connect with current settings.

(NOT A SLAM IM SPEAKING FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE)
the thing is when someone tells you to search over and over again its because its most likely something thats been answered repeatedly.not every question will be answered right away, it could take days and I learned that myself here on this forum. Most likely you are trying to get something done extremely fast and thats where the problem starts...take your time, search and read posts about the phone model you have and you will soon find the root of your issue..when youve read enough posts you may soon come to the realization that you missed something obvious. When people are in a rush to get info NOW!! then they will start reposting the same thing again and again in differnent threaRAB, hijacking other threaRAB and people get annoyed and disinterested whether its urgent for you or not because everyones problems seem to be urgent. it can be frustrating i know... but you need to be patient when asking for information from people who don't have to help you at all.. previously i did the same thing and over time found that its much easier to search this forum and others for what you need, and honestly if your problem was NEW im sure more people would help but its likely a simple issue that neeRAB you to double check your settings.i hope you get your problem worked out , I feel your pain, but i just dont want you to get even more frustrated and repeatedly asking for info that may never come.. HAPPY HOLLIDAYS

Very well said! Excellent advice for anyone using the forums. I like to follow the active threaRAB even if they are not relevent to my neeRAB cuz you never know when you may get that little bit of info that you needed.
