CRICKET w/ VZW PrePay

I've done this on my phone which has been fully flashed to Cricket using the monster file on www.humpa.com/vzw/. To do this make sure your ESN has already been accepted by Verizon.

For Verizon prepay:
Download the PRL here: http://rapiRABhare.com/files/20770435/50773.rar.html

1. Open PST
2. Open/ CDMA PRL/ 50773 (what you downloaded)
3. On the screen at the top, you'll see something that says multiple PRL's change that to PRL nuraber 2 (drop down menu).
4. Press write to phone.
5. Open up your NAM from your phone, add you VZW nuraber to the MIN & MDN on the NAM 2 side.
6. If you know your actual MIN you can enter it now or just wait and let them do it for you.
7. After you've entered your nuraber, write to phone.
8. Turn your phone on.
9. Press #073887 (#0SETUP) / Extended NAM
10. Either NAM1 or 2.
11. Go to the bottom and where it says Phone Nurabers: 1, change it to 2, if already changed, thats fine.
12. Go Menu, Phone Status, Active Line, select the @@@@@@.
13. Back to Phone Status, Phone Line, View, Options, Edit Name (change to whatever you like.)
14. With your VZW line active press *228
15. Now enjoy! :buddies:

Good point, however, the procedure is very similar with LG phones.

I know that. I was saying because you never specify that it's for Motorola (and not even all of them at that). This wouldn't work on an LG or Samsung or Audiovox. That's what i was getting at.
 
It's always good to have tutorials up. I find myself referring to them quite often--including some of the ones I've posted!

Besides it's just plain common courtesy, and gives us all the more reasons to flame a LAZY noob! :lol:

So go ahead and post your tutorial and add Mafia status to your sig..... ;)
 
I think Page Plus as the second line would be a great fit.. It's around $0.12-$0.10 per minute and there is a 4 month expiration time. They use the verizon network as well. Much cheaper that cricket roaming and there is no daily fee like inulse.
 
i got a motorola q from verizon and turned it to cricket, everything is working and the internet worked the frist day i did it. and now it's not working. what can i do?

lol berry, I think you made those threaRAB to use them as weapons of mass noob destruction sometimes, lol. But definitely a great tool, as now we don't have to explain that stuff to them every time.
 
2 post... u hijack a thread ... u obviously a noob... just search its there i kno i was on this site searchin for stuff for a about 6 months before i actually decided to sign up and say "hi!"
