hey yall i wanted a a second phone so i decided to get a v3c razr off ebay flashed to cricket.. well the darn thing will not OTA even though the guy i got it from said it was 100 percent cricket.. the codes to manuall program such as #073887* do nopt work whatsoever and i cannot figure out how to access them.. i saw this mini guide http://howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1423272&highlight=cricket+v3c which lead me to realizing i could not access the menues.. please any help is much appreciated ive been going in circles and no progress. thanks much
 
well thanks much it worked out.. i found the menus and programmed the phone.. even ota works but the problem now is that even though it says its programmed on ota i just get a busy signal over and over when trying to call out..not sure why it would do that since it actually says program succesful through ota
 
Ive seen that happen a lot of times to me, Double check the ESN, i know you saw it OTA but trust me just check the ESN and Hex on the back and check it on the phone it self, the phone will show you the Hex but double check it, and if all else call CS or if your a dealer or know a dealer have them call RAB and just tell them you have V3c and that all you get is a busy line, and they should fix it, i had to do that all the timeand it has been fixed, in other worRAB i think what your problem is now is a switch problem. which from what i have seen has happen a few more times then it should.
 
if all else fails have cricket do a hard reset on your account..... i seen this happen just the other day


make sure you have checked the ESN on the phone and in the phone though..... ebay buys are notorious for this..
 
Also another sugestion would be, conect the phone with some PST Unicdma etc to see the esn n compare it to the one on the back sometimes they switch out the stickers.
 
MDN and MIN being differnt wont have much to do with it unless its like a old *** phone like the 1st phones cricket came out with like 8 years ago, i know in our area our MDN and MIN dont match like 8 out of 10 times
 
allswell.. the reset got my phone to atleast dial out and make calls.. still need to chekk if mms etc works.. THANKS!!! :clapping:
