cricket: unlimited web?

Hello all,

I'm a current Sprint user who is considering switching to Cricket. I live in Pittsburgh, PA USA and we have cricket stores all over the place.

I love browsing the web on Sprint, but it costs $20 a month on top of my $69 monthly bill!

Is it true that Cricket has the web and it is unlimited?

and if you want a phone worth having with unlimited internet, then i recommend talking to healthman from the post above.
 
i am interested about how their unlimited web is too, my wife ordered me a Lingo because i finally got out of my Tmo contract. The Lingo should be here in a day or so...
i haven't found much stuff online about them, i guess because i look it up onder the Lingo name? should i use the other name for it?
 
lingo is a poop phone if you're interested in browsing the web...

please flash and mod a phone for yourself or list your market so that someone in your area can sell you something worth having.
 
I have seen the :LINGO: its a peice of crap. You could have went on ebay and got a nice flashed phone for the same price your paying for the lingo, your paying what 180 for the lingo and you can get a ppc 6800 with a bad esn for like what 240 with shipping. hahah what a world. The lingo is cheap, the screen inside is small. And you cant even stick opera mini browser on it, without having to do some stupid modding to it. You should always research about cell phones. Cricket has some of the durabest phones for sale. Thats why there is a website like this.
 
The only phone's I like that were cricket branded were the nokia slider, the candy bar nokia and the 8910..

i already carry a Blackberry which i use for web & messengers as well-it is my work phone, so i only bought a new one with cricket so i could stop abusing my work phone. i text my wife alot and the Bb's with Nextel don't work for crap with SMS so that was the reason for the Lingo. for the first "free" month i picked the $55 plan, to see if it is worth it. i got the phone in today so i am playing with it now. and I am in Lexington;;;;
anyone know why about 4 stores around me closed?
 
yeah- i was saying something about the quot b/c i know a guy in austin that got shut down for not reaching his required 50 new activations/month...

i mean, he is still open but no longer a cricket dealer...now he does boost.
 
yeah, lets tell em... dont hate on all cricket phones! I'll admit there are some {alot of em} Crap phones but I just got the nokia 6275i and i love it. Btw im using opera mini right now to post this.
 
I may have read wrong, but i swear i saw somewhere that my Lingo/M1000 does Yahoo/Aol/MSN messengers? i haven't found them yet maybe this is carrier specific>? like Virgin Mobile can but CricKet no?
just thought i'd ask here rather than start a whole thread.

I was about to purchase a Treo on Ebay for Cricket but I stalled out after reading some info here. I'm looking for a phone for email and talk mainly with a very good scheduler/organizer. What will work with Cricket??
