For some reason I can't get on Youtube and I can't get on the Speed Test. What am I doing wrong? I think I did everything correctly..

also im in el paso tx. and do you have to pay extra for the tethering or is it still included in the plan.

Technically no its not included but it can be done if you do a little research.

(on your computer create a dial up networking connection
phone nuraber to dial #777
user name is [email protected] (use your phone nuraber, not 9's)
password is "cricket" without the ""
set the browser proxy to be wap.mycricket.com port 8080)

I was going to go with the $50 plan which has:

UNLIMITED
* talk
* long distance
* text & pix
* mexico text
* mobile web
* premium extended coverage
* caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, 3-way calling & voicemail
+ 30 roaming minutes per month

After taxes I would think it would still be less than $60/mo.

Yes, only a few won't work, and then include Youtube and SpeedTest.

is the phone plan also subject to that 5gb download cap that the broadband service is since they run on the same network

Ii am trying to tether and have folowed the instructions, but for some reason i always get this error: error 633: the modem (or other connecting device) is already in use or is not configured properly.
Please help thanks

Btw, I just wanted to thank Extraordinary for her/his instructions. I got my Palm TX tethered to my phone. It's awesome and pretty fast. I just wish more of my internet based apps had internet proxy settings. Kinoma media player does but then it only let you enter a two digit port nuraber. Oh well, the built in browser and Netfront work fine.
