Wirelessly posted (Nokia 6265i USCC: Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.1.7203/1724; en; U; ssr))

Does anyone know if there is a coverage map out there for the st louis market before launch next week?

I was wondering this as well. Where are their towers???? :D

I've actually seen several of them, they are co-located on other companies towers.

Yeah, they dont give out much info. From what I understand they'll spread pretty fast. Crcikets in right now, but wait until they start the price gouging. In Stl, everyones gonna have Cricket, and Im sure its already like that in other states. Soon, someone(sprint) is going to want payment, big payment...

By the way, they have their phones on complete lockdown...

The phones are, they dont have many phones here to begin with... And the ones they do have are "locked" to the cricket network, at least the one I saw was, the one that was activated...
Bluetooth file transfers have been disabled on all 3 phones I saw as well...
Anything I remeraber Ill post later.

ok so apparently you were misinformed, the only phone in the stl market that will not do bt file transfer is the Utstarcom 7126.....Both the Samsung r210, and the Samsung r430 support Bt file transfer....and as far as the phones being locked down, have u heard or unicdma or bitpim???

i just really dont understand how you would post something, not even having a clue what your talking about

exactly. in addition to the 7126 the other ones (not sold in AWS markets, BTW) that do not support file transfer is r610, r500 (supports image transfers but not sounRAB), slider remix, siren, and xcursion... is there any ones I'm missing? i think that is the complete history of bluetooth phones on cricket that do not support file transfers. there are more that do support it than don't.

to my knowledge the only feature that cricket actually locks out is DUN.
