Cricket service

Hi all,

I bought my son a cricket phone on ebay and now I want to get the service plan paid for. So, all he would have to do is go his closet store in Phoenix and get the phone set on the account.

How can I do this? The cricket won't let me pay for it online without buying a phone.

Thanks

Let me make sure I have this straight: you want to start a new account without a phone assigned to it and pay its first month's bill?

If so, this should (hypothetically... never been there myself) be possible by calling 1-800-CRICKET. If you do manage to get it setup, I'd imagine that your son would be charged the standard $15 to change, or add, in this case, the phone associated with the account.

I think you'll need to send him the phone and have someone over 16 take him to a Cricket store and open the account for him (If he's under 16), As if i recall correctly you will have to provide your credit card nuraber every month for bill payment reasons.

First off it doesnt matter how old he is. Period.

Second you'll need to take the phone you bought to a Cricket dealer or corp store in Phoenix (or he will). You'll have to pay the first month and a $15 act fee. They will create an account, put that phone on it, Program the phone and your done.

You or your son will need money, the phone and preferably some sort of ID. If it's your son a school ID is fine. Again, there is no age requirement. Anyone telling you otherwise is lying.

Oh wow my mistake. Back when i first opened my account and was new to the cell world (4 some years ago) the guy told me i had to be 16 to have the account in my name. Hmmmm, did it use to be a age requirement?

assuming its a cricket branded phone, you should be able to establish the account over the phone with 1800cricket.

you'd have to have the phone in hand though.
need nurabers off the back, and it neeRAB to be programmed before the end of the call.
