cricket Q9c evdo help

anyone able to get evdo on Q9c.. the nvm folder is locked in EFS explorer.. i have the q9m and the q9c and both are locked..

Any updates?? Anyone ever have any luck getting evdo to work consistently? Ive searched but the only thing I found was beezles post on how his q9c will sometimes get a evdo data connection.

i tried getting evdo on my q9c and bricked it....it is not worth it...

Actually I think my post said that the first Q9c I flashed I was able to get EVDO, but that I have not been able to get EVDO on any other Q9c except that first one I did.

Anyone that says their phone "sometimes" gets evdo probably has an evdo prl loaded, that is not authenticating, and therefore, is *never* getting actual evdo connection.

They're just getting the EV icon, which they probably don't notice that it changes to 1X when doing data. On the Q, you have to press the 'Home' key during a data transfer, in order to see if the icon is EV or 1X.

look in the PDa subforum. For some reason, there are 2 threaRAB in the top 10 that cover q9c/q9m. i could be completely wonrg, but following the info in those threaRAB has gotten all my q9c/q9m working
