Cricket phones & flashing on the new AWS spectrum????

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction...... Im setting up a new account with cricket but am struggling with the selection of phones, I have had smartphones & PDAs for as long as I can remeraber, which in some cases Ive had to flash, unlock etc... Crickets new AWS aquisition & service in the Oklahoma City area has left me trying to determine a few things!

1. If searching ebay or sorts for a phone what do I look for? CDMA, WCDMA, CDMA with AWS support Etc.... Very limited info on the AWS compatibility in existing phones

2. I have a blackberry world phone 8830 & am familiar on how to flash it to Cricket but not sure if it will work on Crickets AWS service here in OKC???

Sorry boss, theres no AWS phones besides the ones cricket offer so stop wastin your time.

wrong.

you need a tri-band cdma phone. such phones are sold by both metropcs and cricket.

don't be distracted by the term AWS, there are phones that operate in the right frequencies but using the wrong technology sold through t-mobile and also unlocked umts 1700MHz phones are sold. neither of those will work on cricket.

yeah but were talkin about CDMA, besides most metro pcs phones are the same as cricket sooo was just tryin to generalize n not confuse him lol

there are phones metro carries that are not carried by cricket. he did specifically ask about which kind of technology would work.
