cricket phone recovery

I have a cricket phone and someone just reset it, I want to know how one goes about recovering stuff off of a cricket phone, as it has no sim card. Could someone please help me with this. I am freaking out.

If someone reset it to "default" and you see no contacts, pictures, texts, etc. then there isn't any way to get that data back. If you subscribe to Cricket's backup service then you can get your contacts back.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Isn't there recovery software that will retrieve information ? It is interesting to note that my quick texts that I entered myself are still there.

I don't understand how forensics software cannot recover this information someone please explain, if a full wipe was done then why are my quick texts still there.

If I were to run recovery/forensics software what would it find ?

if the information was wiped from the filesystem, then there is no way that you can possibly recover it

unless...

if you are an operative with the CIA under covert special operations specializing in data retrieval and analysis, then you will still be able to recover the "lost" data

btw- i can recover the data for you at a small cost of $115,000 USD + tax, shipping, handling, surcharge, gratuity and my college fund

please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery

Are we bidding? I will put my bid of $114,950 in. A phone is a bit different than a hard drive, which is what you seem to be talking about. Yes, there are many programs out there tha will help you recover lost data. But to be able to on a cell phone, is pretty much out of the question.

i think they read the cell tower data log or something and no once your info is gone its gone unless its on a phone that has a real hard drive built into it then maybe you can,

I have a slvr and want to get my contacts back.

Also those of you who only have witless sarcastic remarks please find another way to show just how little knowledge you have to share, and quit crapping in my thread.

Most people believe whatever information is fed to them, I however, am not one of them. I've learned that often you listen to the wrong people and end up ****ing yourself by doing so. Not one of you has any information backing your statement. So often the question WHY should be asked, which is what I am asking.........

:bulging:

Well... aren't you quite an inspiration..

Your question has been answered. A cell phone isn't like a hard drive where you can get your data if that space hasn't been overwritten. When you delete a contact from your cell phone, it is deleted, period.

Most of us here don't take no for an answer very well either. But think about this: Out of all of the merabers on here, wouldn't you think that someone would have this figured out by now if it were possible? I even googled that for you and it is possible on a SIM card. Why?? Because a SIM card is a data card...hmmm.

I wish you luck in finding out a solution to this, but I doubt it will happen. Keep searching and make me eat crow.... :o

I'm sorry for your loss. Unfortunately there isn't anything that you can do at this point. Cricket's data backup service is only $2 per month and I would recommend that.

Don't know of any method to recover wiped contact info.
But in future, back up your data with Motorola Phone Tools or BitPim.
It's cheaper than Cricket's backup service, and puts you in control of how often you save your data and where.
