Cricket on Mogul - MMS HELL!

Hi, I would first like to thank EVERYONE who has posted notes and the step by step process of fully flashing the Mogul to work on Cricket service.

I have loaded the Cricket ROM from VetVito on my phone and everything works GREAT!

-I can get on the Internet
-I can send and receive text messages
-I can make phone calls/caller id/3way/etc
-I can SEND MMS messages

I have only one problem. After about 60 hours of researching and playing with files in the reg edit as well as the connection settings, here is my problem.

I simply can not receive MMS messages. I get a "forbidden" error. Now, after playing with the settings, I went into the proxy server and deleted the WAP settings from the proxy. BAM! I was able to RECEIVE MMS messages, however I was NOT able to get online.

I would go back in and put the WAP settings back in the Proxy settings and BAM the internet would work, but I was right back to not being able to receive MMS messages.

Its all like a big circle.... which brings me to my question:

Is there anyway to have the Internet dial a specific connection WITH proxy settings, and then to have MMS dial a different connection WITH OUT the proxy settings?

I've been able to set up the two different connections, but there's only one option for the proxy settings. I just dont know what to do, and I would really like to have my phone working 100% with Cricket.

Also, I am in the Phoenix, AZ Cricket calling area if this helps. I would like to thank everyone for ANY help they could provide on my troubles... and thanks again for this wonderful site!!!
 
Since about 2 months ago when cricKet decided to fart around with something in the network, you DO have to delete the "default connections" registry setting to get MMS messages to download. That thread shouldn't be hard to find.
 
best answer...buy a rom serial from to0...

everything is built into his roms and it even deletes the registry value for you avery time you launch messaging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Sadly enough, I am still having issues. I am still getting the "forbidden" error on receiving MMS messages. I think it has something to do with me cricket MMS connection. I cant get the FIRST box to STAY checked on the proxy settings menu. I know the FIRST box should be checked, but the second one should not. However, when I close the connection settings menus, it unchecks itself somehow.

This HAS GOT to be the only thing left. Does ANYONE know what I could do?
 
I am havin the same problem, accordin to the log its failin authentication. But I can not figure out how it athenticates. i am on the WAP just fine. Anybody have any ideas
