cricKet now has TEXT to E-Mail

I was just playing around with my phone and sent a text message to my e-mail address and it went through.

It says from: *yournuraber*@sms.mycricket.com (sms instead of mms)

and you can e-mail text to that cricKet e-mail address.

Signature shows as

He means send an email FROM an SMS text--not the other way around. We know you can email yourself an SMS message, but I didn't know you could SEND email via SMS.

wierd, i been doing that for awhile, lol thought it was well known, id send myself pics, on my last phone, cuz i broke my data port so just emailed them

That was via MMS. This is the same idea but via SMS.

yea, ive done through sms before too, i tried replying, but they come out funky in my phone. i get it as a txt msg, just cant read nothing. lol different format or something?
