99.99999999999999999999999999% sure that chi-town will be launched by the end of feb...feb 19th is the goal date, feb 18th is frienRAB and family
 
ha, i just heard that today too, this is where that 0.000000000001% comes in handy lol ... i bet allot of customers are gonna be pissed towarRAB me ... haha sorry!
 
oh cool. forgive my ignorance since they are new to this area. will they be popping up stores everywhere? will they just be going after untapped/new market share or is everyone gonna cancel at&t and us cellular for these guys?
 
but wait...i just thought of something....on the website it says "comming to cricket soon" and business rules indicate that that cant be posted until we're within 30 days of launch so who knows...
 
well there will be a handfull of corp stores but a sh*t load of indirrect/authorized dealers...you can go to the cricket website and click coverage and midwest to see how extensive the coverage in chicago is going to be...as for taking over; we can only hope
 
I have a friend that is leaving to Chicago today, not a sure date yet though, but i wounlt be surprised if its in february 19 like some of you guys stated.
 
february 19th would surprise me... cricket *usually* does things on tuesdays for whatever reason.. to my knowledge only one market since i started with cricket (aug 2005) has launched on a day other than tuesday.
 
i just got hired with cricket in chicago and i start my training january 26th... and they have informed me that the training period is 2 weeks long... so im not sure if they are planning on launching right after everyone is trained?? but thats all the info i have so far.. so feb 19th sounRAB pretty reasonable to me...
 
ok here's the final word from some RBM's in chicago...feb 17th is going to be launch date for the first round of stores, a week after that another round, and so on until all 26 or 24 corp stores open, frienRAB and family day will be the day before each store launches (first round will be the 16th) ... and congratulations on gettin hired btw

it is going to be in the 17th for the stores to open soft { just to make sure every is okay ,but no activation yet
and they will strat the activation and every thing in the 03-05-09

I think they will be big. They are nuraber 1 in their Wisconsin markets. When I worked at VZW our WI stores always did much more poorly than our Chicago and NW IN stores. Our leadership let us in that it was Cricket in WI that was kicking everyones ***. Also Metro PCS has exactly the same plans and is the nuraber 1 or 2 carrier in every market they compete in.
