cricket has new plans

Thanks for explaining it. Their price jump downward will no doubt cause others to take notice and maybe some action themselves. Maybe it'll be a trend. I'll go with whoever is decent and matches it.

We now have Canada Roaming.

Also why don't they just roll customers onto the "new" plans instead of having them call to change the plan?

Don't get too hung up on the map, you wont know for sure unless you actually go where sprint or another roaming partner has coverage but it's not listed on the map.

For example The entire Rich county in Utah is shown with no coverage yet two of crickets unlimited roaming partners have signal and towers in the area. The map shows the radio signal dies right at the county line :-) (which of course it doesnt) I haven't gone up there but i'm 95% certain that there's coverage even though cricket's map shows otherwise.

Sprint T&T roaming is built into the plan price but Verizon roaming is pay by the minute something that BCDMA does not make available to its users at this point anyway so this does give them more coverage than Boost for sure.

Nationwide Coverage not Service.

If you want unlimited in Atlanta MetroPCS is your best bet. That is who Cricket would roam/operate on in Atlanta anyway.

i just look up my area code 15210 and saw that cricket coverage is EVERYWHERE with the Nationwide Talk...how can i tell if this is all crickets towers or sum is sprint/verizon towers??

And whats going to stop someone from driving to a Cricket area and getting an account with a fake address? Or buy a cricket phone and phone activate it?

VM and Boost Unlimited are $50/mo, Cricket is offering the same thing for $30/mo.

Use two phones. An original cricket phone with updated prl and a flash phone with 1042 prl.

Also if your mobile web doesn't work, you could be roaming

plus cricket offers more features, and more coverage for $10 less... i switched my plan over to the new one today, i'm not paying anything extra as i already had the $40 to begin with... i love it! still solid, and no dropped calls! but thats a very rare occasion anyways

your location: Philadelphia, PA 19139

So, I'm guessing I'll need to drop my 30 roaming minutes on Verizon if I want unlimited talk and text on Sprint. :(

That's too bad, because I wanted to be able to text while roaming on Verizon still, but I guess I can't have both unless I want to pay $60/month.

yea thats sum BS! why does cricket do this type of crap?!?..all the plans should be the same regardless of what sate/city ur in

I just change from old $45 plan to the new $40 plan, call cricket support to refresh my account. Turn off the phone and on then do *228 but not thing change. When I get to my home area the signal drop to 1 bar and then none.

Also, $40 plan but they add tax the total is $49.49.

If you think thats bad, check 78501:

$25
