Cricket broadband vs. clearwire broadband

Sure and we understand why: Bandwidth truly has limits. AT&T got themselves in trouble offering unlimited on paygo and it seems they are yanking it. Rumor is a few hogs killed it taking a lot for their $20.

So Cricket is all over the idiot box offering "Unlimited" broadband revolution for only $40, no contract, and a nice USB "modem" for a reasonable price. Like AT&T offering, I might assume I can plug it right in and watch streaming TV 24 hours a day, right? Doing that would be absurd, but inviting me to do so by declaring "unlimited" is worse. What is the limit?

it's unlimited... there is a clause allowing them to limit throughput (i.e. force you to 1x) if you use more than 5GB a month, but they're talking abot people doing massive amounts of downloading and uploading, not just streaming. from what i undderstand their are a nuraber of people going over this, but so far there have been 0 cases where anyone has been limited.

ok i have seen the speed of the cricket broadband and clearwire... which would you prefer for me too get? i like the cricket because honestly its fast... clearwire is easy.. but cricket is no contract ;) what do you prefer

I lost my broadband card i had purshased  .
I knew i shouldve just waited for my demo card, but noo i had to purchase it from another city and use it here before it was launched

lol ur bettter off going into a store and buying it on a new activation and getting the rebate usually you never get the rebates but cricket changed there whole system because everyone was complaining and there filling rebates out for customers now over here

does clearwire have usb or pc carRAB yet? when i tried them once before they only had a big modem (size of a wireless router) you had to lug around and find an outlet to use the service. additionally i did not find them to be that fast.

OK finally my market has recieved the broadband carRAB!!! WOOHOO :) now everyone my announcement was yes i did choose cricket broadband over clearwire... one reason
1. its smaller... also easier to carry around works in more areas..

any problems i shall be aware of?

please don't go spreading vile crap like this. i've never ever had a cricket customer that did not recieve their rebate when they followed the instructions on the form and adhere to the terms of the rebate.

crickets good, but I PREFER you buy a Sprint broadbandf card from me so I get a nice big commission check......

BTW... this is a Cricket forum, Cricket most likely will reign supreme within here...

and BTW++ - my Crickety broadband card hangs right there withg a Sprint card. SpeeRAB are fine out here

sorry did not mean that.. but ive heard that sometimes they dont get it.. well mostly because they dont send it everything required.. sorry no need to argue
