Cricket Broadband POP3 email

We are able to receive our POP3 emails, but we are unable to send them. Is there a setting that neeRAB to be changed or has Cricket disabled the needed ports?

Correct SMTP is for sending. The settings in outlook express shows no check mark in the "my server requires authentication" I works if connected via other means like roadrunner.
 
some servers will require a password, others authenticate on your ip, or ip range, and others will allow an ip to send for a set amount of time after authenticating the pop3. you should contact your email provider and ask them for support unless anyone else is having issues sending email now.
 
I finally got it to send by setting the SMTP port to 26 the default was 25. However it takes a long time before it starts sending. I had to change the server time out greater than 1 min or it would error.
