I read an article a while ago about a motorcycle company that was allowing dead enthusiasts to will and donate their ashes to be made into a new motorcycle frame so they could ride on? Can anyone provide me a link to who this was???

Hmmm, now that's an interesting thought, I don't think I'd like the be incorporated in the frame of a bike. You'd be used, abused and then thrown on the scrap heap, too much like life I think. Isn't the afterlife suppose to be better?
I know what you mean, put the ashes in the tube before it is welded together, may be attractive to some, but not my cup of tea. It'd have to be a small custom shop, none of the mainstream companies would allow this, you never know who or what gremlin you'd be buying. try Google.

I never heard this. What comes to mind is that the ashes, which are actually only ground up bone fragments, if added to a molten steel mix could contaminate the steel and weaken it. If so, weakened steel might not work well as a frame. I am sending a link I found about mixing ashes into a glass mix which can then be made into ceramics. I also found a site that made urns with motorcycle gas tanks on top and such.

I like to ride, especially in the hills. Just spread my ashes along a hillside where I can watch other riders cruise the curves. I don't want to be part of some frame and get stuck in future rush hour traffic jams and eventually be left outside for my bones to rust.....
