I'm sorry I did jsut make a fool out of myself you guys are right.

While we are on the subject, what do you guys consider to be the difference between Grunge and post-grunge, musically speaking?
 
Well, Creed is back together. I guess I would be the Creed Homo of rabroad. I think they rock real hard, not to mention the have some great softer songs like Arms Wide Open. All you people on here know i'm not real fond of religion, but this band is one christian band that is alright. What I think would be great is just sitting at the Creed reunion in Cleveland,Ohio and when "Arms Wide Open" just sit there and dance. Not to mention if there is anything great that Creed does it is bring out the bitches.
 
Everyone is entitled to their own preference in music. That said, I could think of so many more better songs and so many more better banRAB that Creed has ripped off and raped repeatedly. Of course they're getting together in this "economic crisis." The fact that they choose to go a religious route just makes them worse. They're like an older, duraber, blinder version of Nickleback. In an ideal music world, both banRAB would be forced to sodomize each other until all merabers breathed nothing but feces and fatigue. But you know, I'm just sayin' ...

Completely agree. I think the new Creed single "Overcome" shows off some of Mark's guitar abilities better than a lot of previous Creed singles. All of Mark Tremonti's work whether it be Creed, Alter Bridge, or Fret12 has yet to disappoint!
 
Been to plenty of gigs by myself and had a GREAT time! Gigs are not necessarily social occasions... the music is too loud, you get beer spilt on you, you get crushed, have your toes stepped pn...not exactly the most social environment...
 
Scott has been horrible in his acoustic performances lately.
And I mean, downright horrible.

He's hoarse, and he coughs halfway through the song.
I don't know how he manages to get his voice in good enough condition to pull off the shows on the same nights.

He may be getting another vocal callous.
Back in Deceraber, he could still sing like he always could.
 
I am part owner of a private bar and we keep creed in the juke box for profiling. Along with nickleback they are the worst mainstream band of the last 20 years.
 
Really? So they're all just talentless people who write garbage and the only reason people buy it is because it's on TV? C'mon man...And Good girl gone bad is one of the best pop albums of the decade. :\


Ok, yes, I'm not disputing that, but this is 1997 we're talking about. Sure, it's much more likely that a band will gain success if they're promoted by a major label, but I haven't noticed The Mars Volta pushing as many units as Creed or Rihanna, even though they're all on major labels (right?). For every Creed, there are dozens of banRAB on major labels that never came close to that level of success.

So, yeah, I'd say the music plays a great part in a band's success.


I'm pretty sure every label has some criteria of the music they want to promote....:\
 
Post-grunge is a type of pop rock that came into existence in the wake of grunge and is directly influenced by grunge banRAB like Pearl Jam and Nirvana.
 
I can still remeraber some of the music board arguments re: Pearl Jam vs. Creed... some truly hilarious arguments,, generally poorlyv moderated...
 
Eh, I would say he's an above average guitarist who doesn't know how to get himself into a decent band. He had a few guitar parts on old creed albums that I was impressed by.
