credit card company in Mississippi is garnishing my wages in florida.?

1) I'm not working now,so no garnishment is taking place now, but will be working soon. Have payed about 1,250.00 in wage garnishments, with a balance of just under 5,000.00 . Have not contacted lawyer in Miss. who placed the garnishmet. Need information on how to deal with lawyer? What to offer for pay off? ,work out deal? How to get court system in Jackson Miss. to dismiss court order? Can I do this myself?, and get a good deal?. or need professional help for best solution?

a lot of things happened before your wages started to get garnished. you probably got a summons in the mail and ignored it or just didnt receive one at all. obvioulsy the co. won a judgement against you, which does not look good on your credit at all. you need to contact a lawyer or the original creditor and try to work something out with them. good luck
