creation or evolution....?

Creationism starts with a known, "god did it", and then pretty much stops. The idea of creation science is anathema to anyone with a true understanding of science. If someone chooses to believe in creationism, then they are free to do so, and to advance their beliefs in the appropriate venue, which would be church.
Evolution starts with an unknown and strives to move to a known through observation and experimentation. It is therefore science.
It has been my experience that most believers in creationism will say something like "there are no transitional species". The evolutionists will counter with scientific evidence, and that's the end of it. However, the creationists seem incapable of accepting any proof. Remember, gravity is also "just a theory", but most people don't test it by jumping off the roof.
