I don't quite know how to ask this, but if I say so myself, this is a damn clever producing idea. The other day I had the craziest thought come across my head, could I capture Auto Tunes midi from my voice, and send it to an instrument so when I sing, I don't hear a robot tpain sound but instead an instrument (like a bass synth, violin, piano..etc.) and use that to create a beat? I know there's an app for the iPhone that allows your to do something like this, so there's gotta be a way I can re-route Auto Tune's Midi notes that it's capturing from my voice, to send it to an instrument. Think of the possibilities this could open? Cuz those of you that really know the in's in out's of auto tune know, that, in order to make a dope sounding track with auto-tune, the vocalist has got to play the auto-tune like an instrument while hearing the corrected results thru the headphones, so couldn't this technique be implemented with trying to create a beat with your voice w/ auto-tunes Midi capabilities?
