Create your own cartoon show

LOS ANGELES

New member
I don't think we've ever had this thread before, where we create our own cartoon show, but here it is. So, here I go with an idea I have in mind:

Weatherwoman-Los Angeles-based superheroine in the guise of Carolyn Smith, a meteorology professor at UCLA, who becomes a superheroine after an accident at a Military-run Weather Station, caused by lightning striking a tower and toppling it onto her, her husband, LAPD Det. Harlan Smith, steel drums full of radioactive sulphur, boxes of silver iodine and live electric wires. As her husband is paralyzed from the stricken tower falling on him, she suffers from shattered bones from the accident's impact and she's also subsequently exposed to the sulphur and the silver iodine, exploded by the toppled live electric wires. While her husband is fitted with a special solar-powered hover chair with manual controls and a communicator, Carolyn is in the Operator's Room at the Military Hospital on the base, being treated for radiation exposure and shattered bones. Medics from the Army Medical Corps injected her with a special antemantium marrow to treat her shattered bones. It ultimately gave her super strength, but as for her exposure to the radiation, it wound up giving her super powers, related to weather elements. Doctors fitted her with a magnetic belt and braces to help her control her newly-acquired powers after they found her floating freely in her hospital room. As she recovered from the accident, she mastered her powers, her ability to fly and her super strength. She also sowed together a special bulletproof costume with a cape, a mask and a pair of high-heel boots. She also fitted herself with a pair of special power bracelets with a wrist communicator. With the power bracelets, at the first sign of danger, she would cross her wrists, tap her bands and transform from Carolyn Smith into the superheroine Weatherwoman. She will rescue victims in danger and take on the most brazen criminals and diabolically sinister supervillains in Los Angeles.

Cast of characters:

Carolyn Smith (mild-mannered UCLA meterology professor)/Weatherwoman
Det. Harlan Smith (LAPD, paralyzed from waist down, but fitted with hover chair)

Cyclonus, Weatherwoman's arch-enemy (Mad elemental scientist/criminal mastermind with disaster devices. He seeks to destroy Los Angeles)
Tyrannodile (Half-man, half-crocodile, all terror. He's as vicious as a tyrannosaurus rex)
Grim Monger (A hood wearing, hook staff-carrying monk who prophesizes evil and destruction)
Venomina (Snake-tongued woman who seeks to destroy Weatherwoman and polute Los Angeles with toxins)
The Pyromaniac (A renegade who specializes in missiles, rockets, fire weapons, etc., primarily an arsonist and a vandal)

That's my idea for a cartoon show. Now, if you have your own ideas for a cartoon show, please post them.

My idea is called WINDY. Form the old song WinDY. She's a private eye that can detect lies with her eyes and she can get to the real culprit with their own words.
Other details later.

" The Aventures of Young Monty and FL''

The series will follow a dumb Cat named Young Monty (Youngus Montreal Singerterry) and a Dog named FL (Frances Lovitz), who just got kicked out of their mansion by a mean owner. Now, while trying to find a place to survive, the two always duke it out with each other over things that aren't nessecary (i.e. A beautiful Cat, A peice of Cheese, A home).

And:

The Various Firestone toons Show:

Here, I will create shorts that's drawn from me, like a short called "Maggie", "Little Nerds" and "What If".

The series, called Young Monty and FL will be produced by my own Firestone Television production company, and Warner Bros. Animation for KIDS WB!

Back in the days when Rankin-Bass was creating shows for syndicated television like Thundercats (alien cat-people fighting evil on a sparsely-populated planet), Silverhawks (cyborg bird-people fighting evil in a sparsely-populated sector of space), and the little-seen Tiger Sharks (mutant fish-people fighting evil on a sparsely-populated ocean floor), I recognized the pattern behind their development and worked out what I thought would be a good choice for the next show in the series. I called it Road Hogs, and it was about motorcycle-riding pig people fighting evil in a post-apocalyptic flatland, resembling the Australian outback (complete with aboriginal indigenes), and criss-crossed with thousands of miles of paved road. The cast was as follows:

Razorback: the leader of the group. A young but cagey biker hog whose motorcycle skills are unmatched.
Tusker (a warthog): A wily old battle veteran, the powerhouse of the group. Big, ugly and germophobic, with a gruff, softer side.
Tenderloin: the group's token female character. Imagine Miss Piggy as a biker chick with less 'tude, a chip on her shoulder, and the street smarts of the Artful Dodger.
Truffle: the team's slightly fey scientist. A pudgy, prissy gourmet who doesn't like exerting himself too much. Instead of a motorcycle, he rides around in a velocipede tricked out with many gadgets.
Potbelly (A Vietnamese potbellied pig): A short and scrappy hotshot trick rider. A mouthy legend in his own mind, but loyal to a fault.
Hamhock: The team's mechanic and comedy relief. Slow-talking, Southern-fried and full of down-home wisdom that never quite pans out. The late Phil Harris was still alive when I dreamed this up; I thought his was the perfect voice for this character.
Bacon-bits: The obligatory cute-kid sidekick, and as annoying as the worst of them, but hey, the investors would expect a character like this, so I delivered. He idolizes Razorback and Potbelly and tries to imitate them.

Of course, there were villians for the Road Hogs to fight and, although I never got around to naming them, I figured for consistency's sake, I'd make them other types of hooved mammals. The villians' leader was a nasty, zoot-suited bull who rode around in a huge Bigfoot-style monster truck, and his henchmen included a dumb, musclebound moose, a sneaky reindeer, a samurai-like bighorn sheep, and an obsequious goat.

Nice thought, but those characters are taken, by Warner Bros. Try again, but please, be original-come up with ideas from your own mind. It doesn't hurt to be original.

This is the episode guide to Ben Davis Warriors. There's still four 'unaired' episodes to round out Season 1 that'll come soon.

1. Knights & Pawns (Airdate 9/16/06) - When Ace and Jesse rescue a boy from a group of shadow demons, they unwittingly stumble upon a mystery involving their own origins.

2. Queen Victoria (Airdate 9/30/06) - Victoria's rival for the Homecoming Crown discovers she has the powers of a Siren, and decides to aim a bit higher than mere Homecoming Queen, and soon captures half the team to do her bidding.

3. See No Evil, Hear No Evil (Airdate 10/7/06)- A cursed totem is rendering Jesse's senses useless. The Warriors must retrieve the totem before the effects become permanent, while Ace looks after Jesse with his seeing eye ice squirrel.

4. Mind Games (Airdate 10/14/06)- A new transfer student is using his telekinetic powers for his own personal gain. The Warriors try to get him to use his powers for good, but when he sees his girlfriend cheating, he loses control of his abilities and unleashes them at the baseball game.

5. Angelus Among Us (Airdate 12/28/06) - Darkheart uses a special pollen to hyptonize everyone wearing a Halloween costume into thinking they're someone else. The problem is, Andy now thinks he's the most vicious vampire in existence.

6. The Mask of Medusa/The Need For Speed (Airdate 02/04/07) - Carol is put under the spell of an ancient mask and turns Ace and Andy into stone statues; Walker faces his worst fear when a rival on the track team gains superspeed.

7. The Legend of Dakota Derrick (Airdate TBA) - Darkheart sets out to find the scrolls of Kevoian and Griswald, and the Warriors have to seek out a famed retired archaeologist to help them find the scrolls first.

8. The Stepford Students (Airdate 02/11/07)- A rehab center for teen offenders raises suspicion with the team, and soon Ace falls victim to the center's deadly secret.

9. Mallrat/Family Ties -(Airdate 04/10/07) Maietta sends an oversized sewer rat into the mall to flush out the Warriors; Ace gets amnesia and falls in with Triple Trouble.

10. The Cheerleader Revenge Squad (Airdate 04/28/07) - A new trio of villainesses rises, just as Jesse has a crisis of conscience.

11. Kit's Story (Airdate 05/26/07) - After Andy is critically injured by Kartheiser, Kit tells him how he came to be trapped inside the Mall of Justice, and the reason behind Ace's behavior.

12. Showdown, Part 1 (Airdate TBA) Darkheart begins his ultimate plan to take over the city, revealing his true identity to the Warriors.

13. Showdown, Part 2 (Airdate TBA) Andy is faced with a tough decision to help his teammates when Darkheart takes over the Mall of Justice.

Well, my own cartoons are Carrot Cake and Avery J. Fox, or just simply C.C. & Avery. Here they are as rendered by some of my DA cronies:

Carrot Cake (often known as just C.C.) is an ultra-cute sweetie little bunny with a sadistic streak just beneath the surface. A perfect blend of childish innocence and adult cynicism. She's smart enough to easily outwit her adversary, Avery, but most of the time she prefers to dish out some good old fashioned cartoon violence. :D She has a perpetually stuffy nose and occasionally has to *sniff* when she speaks (a la Tex Avery's Screwy Squirrel). C.C. is basically one-third Bugs, one-third Tweety, and one-third Jerry. :anime:

Avery J. Fox is ostensibly the "bad guy". Of course, he's no real threat at all (except maybe to himself). He fancies himself to be a clever hunter, but he is really a pushover; forever defeated by a little girly bunny about half his size. He has a voice similar to Pete Puma's to further emphasize that he's not too bright. :D

When not out to get each other on screen, C.C. & Avery are having to join forces against clueless network executives who want to turn them into "C.C. & Avery Babies" or "C.C. & Avery Extreme (Unleashed)". XD

I've even been messing around with a mock history for their cartoons: In 1938, Carnation Pictures ("From contented actors") decided to get into the growing cartoon field. They hired some animators from the defunct "Cutesy Toons" (TTA reference, folks!) who came up with the character of Carrot Cake, an ultra-cute bunny who at first starred in some ultra-cute cartoons that met with modest success. In 1940, however, a new attitude was taking shape with the arrival of Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, and Woody Woodpecker. Carnation Pictures wanted their star character to reflect this new attitude, and found just the guy to bring this about in the form of newly-hired director Ben "Tex-Mex" Dalton. Dalton gradually made Carrot Cake more brash and rambunctious, and in 1942, found the perfect recurring foe for her, Avery J. Fox. The duo would go on to be Carnation Pictures signature cartoon series from 1942 until they closed shop in 1965. This is the short version, I don't have time for anything more detailed right now. XD
