Create a piece of art that reflects my culture?

For my english assignment, I had to create my own culture and then write a myth. I also have to create a piece of art that represents the ideas and beliefs of the culture. It could be visual or a literary piece. So my culture is basically almost the same as today's culture... any ideas on what to do?!
 
I don't understand why teachers are requiring all the cultural/ethnic awareness projects this year, however, Since you asked but didn't include what "culture" you are taking about. Why not a montage of pictures from current magazines..
