...cook it? running out of food for this week and reaching for my last few ingredients i have left in my fridge and cupboards.... and the only thing i can think to put together is rice with cream of chicken soup with pork chop on top of it as a kind of casserole...i think my mom may have made SOMETHING like that before but I'm not sure.

does anyone have a recipe that includes at least something like these ingredients that i could use? And how would i put this together? would i cook the rice first? then mix it with the cream of chicken? Is there another way of incorporating the pork chop than just laying it on top? I'm just winging it here...

You're on the right track!
I'd boil 1 cup of rice in 2 cups of water 15 minutes for 2 servings.
Brown the 2 pork chops in hot oil, a few minutes on each side.
Transfer partially cooked rice to casserole dish, pour soup over it,
Place the pork chops on top, or slice them & mix into the rice.
You can also add onions, celery, peas, carrots, peppers, etc.
Then bake everything in 400F oven 30 minutes until rice is tender.

baked porkchops with onion if you have one. bake for about 30-45 minutes on 375 add some butter in there. if you have some chicken broth add some of that too. if not just some water so they wont stick and burn.

cook the rice when the chops are about done. rice only takes about 10-15 min

in a seperate pot heat the cream of chicken. add a little water to thin it out a bit.

once everything is done, put a generous amount of rice in the center of the plate. put the pork chop on the bed of rice. then drizzle the cream of chicken over everything.

got bread and butter???

Dredge the chops in seasoned flour in a dutch oven fry the chops with onion remove excess fat
add the soup with water with some mild chili powder (optional) and cook at a low simmer add water
as needed. cook till tender. make the rice separately then serve with chops/soup over fluffed rice some veggies would be nice if you have?
