creak coming from rear of bike, any ideas?

my mountain bike has developed a creak as of recent times, ive spent hours upon hours trying to find the source, stripped the bike down from bottom bracket backwards greasing all the bolts, and for a few weeks the creak vanished, but now its back!! ive replaced my bottom bracket this week and although i wasn't expecting the creak to come from that it would of been nice, but it still seems to creak, so ive ruled out my bottom bracket as the source.
do you have any ideas what so ever of what it could be? doesn't matter if you even think it will be that i just need some more ideas of things to check and do
so any ideas?

ps its not the seat or seat stem i can make it creak when im sitting, but also when im standing over the seat as long as not to far forward. it only seems to be there when im putting pressure on the pedals but with my weight middle of the bike and backwards

Tha answer above could be right. Try riding it without the seat and clamp on. If it stops grease the post a bit as it might be dry. If it still happens after you've done that check the saddle clamp. I've got a Race Face Deus with the slidey bit on it and that sometimes creaks.

Also are you using the right type of grease? Some get washed out easily.

ADDED: Re the seat post, mine creaks in and out of the saddle sometimes - It's caused by slight flexes in the frame.
