my lower back is in total discomfort-----my question for the board involves nerves----just chec king to see if these symptoms can be related to my lower back----toes on both feet tingle----also --and most bothersome---skin at my lower back feels like a burning sensation---toes have felt this before also-----any feedback???? thanks

Yes indeed. One problem could be a herniated disc pressing on a nerve. The sciatic nerve runs from slightly below your waist all the way down to your toes. Nerve pain can feel like a tingling, a burning sensation, nurabness, a stabbing pain, etc. In other worRAB, it is diverse!

Ditto, even swollen tissue due to just irritation in general can cause that as well.

Yes from me as well...tingling & burning sensations in your feet can be related to a problem in the spine, usually by something causing nerve compression (such as herniations, stenosis, vertebral slippage, etc.)

Without a doubt! You might try looking up dermotone charts to see that specific levels in your back cause pain in certain areas on the foot, calf, thigh, toes, etc.
