Honourable mention for this movie about race relations in LA.

Ensemble cast. Fantastic acting. Almost had me crying my eyes out.

Ok not out in the UK yet, but when it is I'll be in the cinema.

Best new film I've seen in a veeeeery long time. Didn't know they made 'em anymore.

Beautiful film. :)

Anyone else seen this??

I saw this film in Canada a couple of weeks ago, it really is exellant. Sandra Bullock and Matt Dillon really can act, now that`s a surprise. A great film.

Looks fantastic-cant wait to see it :D

AMAZING cast too

So is the movie like amores perros and magnolia in which we look at the lives of different people?

I haven't seen "amores perros" but yes, it looks at the lives of different people.

Its not an easy film to watch. I think if you look at the reviews there is a small percentage of people who are looking for a "dumb action flick that says nothing".
The other 95% say its a must see film and give some really insightful/wonderful commentary on it. :)

If this film gets a ton of oscar nominations and doesn't win a few oscars, I'll be mighty ticked off.

I really want to see this too as it looks really good from the trailers. If anybody is interested you can get free tickets to a preview screening of Crash on Firstmovies.com for the 10th of August in the UGC cinema. I will defiantly be going over to get some even though I have got an unlimited card!

Yes, free tickets were also advertised in the London Metro today. But I work evenings so that date is out for me. :(

Well it opens on the 12 Aug so that's good news.
:)

Heard really good buzz on this supposed to be an excellent ensemble cast.

Good to see Matt Dillon finally getting a decent part he is a good actor wasted in rubbish like Herbie.

Will look out for free tickets in Metro later thanx.

This film is brilliant, a great cast, some fantastic performances and a really engaging series of stories wrapped around each other.

IMO this is far better than Magnolia and I loved that.

I'm not an emotional watcher of films but this one pulled me right in and there is one scene that really hit me, brilliant stuff, I want to watch it again.

I'll be amazed (and delighted) if anything tops this, this year.

A fantastic film, great ensemble cast but the best acting came from dillon, thandie newton and Terrence who played thandie's husband.Secondly,it's great to see an intelligent film during the "summer blockbuster" period.

Got the sountrack today. Was really only one track I wanted to listen to straight away.

Don't want to give anything away. But its THAT SCENE! Those who have seen it should know what part I'm talking about.

Oh and a band called Bird York - In the deep. Now that's a beautiful song.
:)
