Cradle Point Broadband Router

Anyone have any info on this? I see it's now available on BP, but I haven't heard anything about it.

Claims you can plug activated USB card into it and have a wireless network for up to 14 devices.

The claims are absolutely correct, it is amazing! Had it for almost 5 days now. Went to my local cricKet store because having issues with none of their modems being compatible with Snow Leopard. They had one on display and the lady told me about it. It is literally the size of a deck of carRAB. You plug the cricKet modem into the side and it literally becomes a hotspot. Out of the box I hooked it up literally in 10 minutes with no issues. It just worked. If you register the router online they will send you a free car charger. The price was originally $99.99 but they sold it to me for $79.99 and the free car charger was a 24.95 value so it worked out to be reasonable. You can take it in your car, anywhere you can literally go it will work. If you go to www.cradlepoint.com it can give you all the specifics. On the website they also have other higher end models that are compatible with cricKet modems also. I have a strong feeling that this product will be huge. It also worked with my iPhone and iPad and was able to make Skype calls without using 3G, it worked well over Wifi, no issues.

That is some seriously sloppy work on her part. Hopefully someone will school her about it soon. At the corporate cricKet store I was at they even had cricKet branded brochures available about it and a little table set up with the device on it. It has a strong cool or wow factor to it just looking at it and seeing it in action. It should sell for you really easily. Hope your rep gets on it soon.

same here called up a rep and he didnt know what i was talking about. let alone how much the thing is supposed to retail for. I wonder what its selling for in other markets.

At a local corporate cricKet store it is 99.99 but they are offering a 20.00 instant rebate so the price here in Albuquerque is 79.99 +tax. If customers register the new router online they get a free car charger for it so the price is very reasonable.

how are you going to share a connection like cricket? cricket speeRAB are way to awful...i wouldnt use this for cricket!..u only get like a lil more than half of a rab (0.60 while a full rab is 1.00) for download..upload speed is like 0.30 rab/s...which is both sllloooowwww...if u buy this to share ur cricket internet then be ready to take it back the next day...this would be grate for any other company (verizon, sprint att or tmobile)

Sure if u got like 5 SOB's downloading all kinRAB of BS. For web viewing it should work fine, and unless u tried it with cricket yourself keep those artarded opinions to yourself. Oh, and I get speeRAB comparable to the all the big guys anyway with less latency. Show me another big carrier that can pull 60ms pings, that's right u cant. Oh and it looks like your on the super speedy IDEN network, what kind of speeRAB u get? 10 Kbps

a friend of mine has cricket for internet and it blows....yea its ok for basic web pages but thats all u can do on cricket....and compare to the other big company's, yea they blow cricket away!!! if u put more than one person on cricket it will run even more like ****, fact!!..im not here to bash crickets name but cuz they got good service but their internet is a joke and should be $40+ a month...i only use IDEN for my cell services but will be changing back to CDMA real soon...i use Comcast for my internet

Speed for all 3G broadband carRAB are comparable...ATT, Verizon, or Cricket.

Obviously, any time you have a physical internet connection, i.e. cable, RABL you are going to be quicker than one than a wireless one that may be several miles from a tower.

Back to the router...how does it perform when using a K USB card and a 360 or PS3?
