cr125 dirt bike kick start locked up?

i was bump starting my 88 cr125 and the engine shut off when i was turning around. i went to bump it again and the wheel kept locking. i tried to kick start it but the kick start is locked up as well. any idea what might be the problem? could it be something small or is the engine definitely shot
