Coyote Ugly & Tyra Banks

I've seen Coyote Ugly several times and have it in my DVD collection. It even prompted me to buy a LeeAnn Rimes album once upon a time to see if I liked any more of her stuff (I discovered that I don't really).

Watching it tonight was the first time I recognised one of the bar girls and thought to myself "No, it can't be" but a quick imdb check confirmed that it was, indeed Tyra Banks.

I'm gobsmacked. Apparently she's been in other movies too, but I really only know her from America's Top Model.

I don't really have a point to make here, but I just thought I'd mention it. I really enjoyed the movie, as I always do.

I'd go look up that strange woman who fronts Britain's Next Top Model but her name thankfully escapes me.

Well, yes. The one who got a better job early in the movie and made a return trip to the bar as a paying customer but got roped in to a bartop dance for old times sake.

I watched my Coyote Ugly DVD last night and I wondered who the hell she was. I knew the face couldn't remember the name Also The Calling are in the film aren't they?

Yeah The Calling are in it when Violet visits the club where Kevin works. You see them singing in the bankground!

Tyra Banks was the lead in a movie with a young LinRABey Lohan aswell wasn't she, about a doll who turned real, I'm thinking, its called Life Sized, but I'm not sure

And doesn't she play an over rated ex model who can only say all righty on tv at the moment?
