HATE!!!!!

Fucking coworkers. Damn them. Damn them all to hell! I had the absolute mis-fucking-fortune of cleaning up not one coworker's, but three coworkers' screw ups today.

I work at a hotel. Apparently one of the other desk clerks moved someone to a different room, but failed to change it in the guests record. The housekeeper barged in on the woman today, thinking the room was empty. The housekeeper did not feel it necessary to mention this to ANYBODY. The head housekeeper (supposedly) checked the room, and she didn't say shit either. Since I was under the impression the room was empty, I checked some guests into it. Needless to say they walked in on this woman and scared the piss out of her. They came back down and threw the room keys at me and were all:

[Switch: On ]: Just give us our money back!
[Switch: Off]

Whatever. Then the lady came down, crying and shit wanting her money back. It took forever just to sort everything out, and I called the other desk clerk to ask him about it and he told me to lose my attitude. :mfinger: Fuck that. I know damn well if the situation were reversed he would have given me a royal thrashing. GRRR. And since he is the official kiss-ass around here he probably won't get into too trouble for it, but if it were anyone else the boss would have our heads on the chopping block.

Damn.
 
How fucking annoying.
This is the part of life where you shoot to the top of the corporate ladder and fire him after you hire a hit man to kill everyone sharing his last name.
 
I say you randomly move people but give them that guys name when you do it.........that way when the shit continues to hit the fan it all comes back to him.........just make sure nobody actually sees you. :cool:
 
I've had this happen more times than I can count. I'm working the same job, different hotel. The rotating nature of the employees makes it so it is only I that has to be responsible. The others are either too new, or just leaving, to get in serious trouble.

Add in the fact that they just made it so I have to work every saturday swing by my fucking self, which is just outright stupid, and I'm just hating this job right now. If it wasn't for the two graves a week of easy kickback nature, I'd just fucking quit.

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who has to be responsible or I get kicked in the ass, while everyone else just fucks off and leaves me to clean up. It just feels that way sometimes.
