Whilst I do realise that this type of programme unearths all sorts of low life that are conning innocent and sometimes frail people out of money, why is it that I am constantly wishing that someone, when confronted, would plant a real scorcher right on the nose of that Dominic wotsisname?
he`s so patronising!
I know he is only doing a job and presenting a programme but he really gets up MY nose!
Anyone else feel the same?

I liked this show at first, but now very week it's the same format, it's like DIY SOS meets Challenge Anneka. Melinda and Dom inspect the bodged work with their expert eye. The builder agrees to do the build for whatever cost, he finds something else that needs doing, tells Melinda he's not happy with he's being asked to do and then does it anyway. She then goes round local shops who happily agree to give

Clive Holland the big burly geezer fom Cowboy Trap looks like a bond villan but dont deliver the goods now if he adopted the Roger Cook approach i'd watch that:D

Yes,I totally agree-the lengths some people will go to to get business exposure on television-they could have thousands of `fly posters` printed for the value of the stuff they give away.
I`m all for charity, but this is absolutely ridiculous!
If Melinda knocks on my door, all she`ll get is a cup of tea!!
Not impressed at all-these people are all up their own.........

Whoa whoa whoa (that's English for 'stop a horse'). What the hell is this?

Why are the businesses just giving stuff away for free with a great big smile on their faces?

Does Sheree Murphy give them a good seeing to when the cameras are off or something?

would have us to believe that little dom is a hard man.lol.
he wont get past me he yells at the camera's i will stop him
year right.. listen dom we know who you are, and soon the trading standards will know too. lol... all staged programmes.
little dom, big clive,
and dom is also on that other crap programe dirty rotten scroundrels..

In the episode this week (29-09-10?) where the woman was left holding the baby after her bloke decided to move to the other side of the World, I couldn't help thinking the builder (Peter?) wasn't really given the chance to answer any questions. Little Dom just continued to talk over whatever the builder tried to say. The evidence against him didn't look good, but even so, he just didn't get much of a chance to defend himself.

Nowadays, there's just far too much of this aggressive interviewing style for my liking.

If he was as bad as they made out, then why wasn't he in prison?

Why didn't the woman pursue getting back what she thought she was owed, instead of getting another builder to do a bit more of the project and then run out of money?

As for the other programme mentioned, The Cowboy Trap, well that's just a complete joke!
