Courts roll back limits on election spending, and open door for more corruption?

Bad decision. Equal time for all candidates on TV (fairness doctrine), free lease of places for political rallies and no campaign spending whatsoever.

The only way to return control back to the people.

Was it Nietzsche who said "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." If so, he left out the influence that money brings, because here in the US money is power, and the more money one party has the more power they have to make things turn out their way, regardless of how the ballots are cast.

Election spending enhances an election, it allows politicians to put their good ideas forward, without lots and lots and lots how would you know NOT to vote for the other guy. Attack ads are part of the system.

Corruption is a symptom of too much government power. Spending limits are a complete joke. If you take away a politicians power to produce political favors you take away the potential for corruption.
