From several sources....the court date was moved up. There is a article by her friend that is rather interesting (look at first source below). You will read about how she stole a dog at gun point (with her bf) and then tried to return it for the reward.
You are correct...horrible thing this girl did.>>AND she still thinks it was all a big joke, not a big deal. If she lived in a state like PA, she wouldn't even have a court date. Animal laws just are not strict enough. Especially when many studies show that young people who hurt animals in cruel ways are more likely to grow up to be convicted of assault, rape, burglary....etc
