Courier Bag wont stay on my back while riding bike?

i just bought a bike messenger bag (Base Camp Messenger) made by 'The North Face' and even though i wear it tight to my back, it keeps slipping around to my side or front while i'm riding my bike.
anyone have any tips that might help this?
