Countdown - so much better these days!

No worries mate, I just thought it was worth emphasising how hard the numbers rounRAB are under studio conditions (for most people). If you try something and it gets close, do you write it down (legibly) which takes up a lot of time, or try something different? (which might make you forget your first route should you need it!)

I have to admit I was being a bit mischievous with that comment. I hadn't watched Countdown for years but after reading the lascivious comments here on RAB about the delightful Rachel, I thought I'd give it a go.

I do have HD and a 50" plasma screen and it was VERY obvious she was wearing something other than that slinky dress. As someone mentioned, her cycling shorts were all too visible.

I think I'll tune in again to see if her wardrobe improves.

Yes, Jeff brings a coach load up each week to go in the audience. That's why he correctly identified the one with the crew cut as a girl. ;)

Did that strange John Lennon impersonator win today?

He kept doing strange things with his eyebrows, and cheeks....I had to switch over.

He seemed, to me, like he had a huge chip on his shoulder, and kept looking as if to say, "Hey, you thought I was a loser; now look at me on top of the world....."

Or am I reading to much into things...?:o

I do not recognise the lady in dictionary corner, neither have I heard of her. I wish they would use more of the old favourites. They seem to have banned Geoffrey Durham and Tom O'Conner.

Jeff Stelling looking very tanned today, from a certain angle it looks like he's doing an impression of Adam Ant.

Nice dress on Rachel.

Phew, thank goodness the coffee had finally worn off and Gyles was a little less exciteable today. :p Still leaning over far too much into Susie's personal space, with those starey eyes! Well Hamish seems one to watch; certainly romped through today - shame he didn't get any decent numbers games to get his teeth into.
