Could you recommend an astronomy program?

I've been using Stellarium, but it's decided to stop working with the new updates, so I'm looking for something similar (land based, provides magnitude, distance etc)

It doesn't have to be free, but obviously the free ones are preferred.

Any recommendations would be great, thanks in advance.
 
I've always liked Starry Night, and have used it for many years. I liked it so much that a few years ago, I went to work for them, so I'm not an unbiased source. The powerful versions (Pro and Pro Plus) are not cheap and put a lot of demands on your hardware, but the results are very pretty, and the software is extremely versatile and powerful.
